Makeup that still feels like you
Being asked to be part of a wedding morning is something I never take for granted. Everything on this page — what is included, what it costs, and how the trial and the morning actually run — is here so you can picture the day before you ever get in touch.
Every bridal booking includes
- One bridal trial
- A 90 to 120 minute trial is included. You can use it whenever it suits your planning before the wedding, or choose not to have one.
- Wedding-day makeup
- Your makeup on the wedding day, planned around the look we have discussed and the time you need to be ready.
- Individual lashes
- Tailored to the look rather than a strip out of a packet. Included, not an add-on.
- Timing and planning
- For bridal parties, we work out how many people need makeup and build the timing around when everyone needs to be ready.
- A touch-up kit to keep
- The lip, the blotting papers and the powder you will actually reach for at the reception.
- Additional trials if you want them
- If you would like to test another direction or simply want another appointment before the wedding, an additional trial can be booked for an extra fee.
What it costs
Two numbers, and the arithmetic is that simple. Your quote adds travel, and an early start if your morning needs one, and it is confirmed before you book.
Everything else
A signed agreement and a 15% non-refundable retainer hold your date. The balance is due 14 days before the wedding.
What actually happens at your trial
Your included bridal trial runs for around 90 to 120 minutes. There is no single correct time to have it. Some brides want to organise it earlier in the planning process, while others prefer to wait until more of the dress, hair and other details are decided. We can choose a time that makes sense for you.
We start by talking through how you normally wear makeup, the references you have saved and anything you already know you do not like. Then we build your look and make changes as we go. If you want the eyes softer, more coverage in one area or a different lip, say it. That is useful feedback.
I take notes on the products and shades we use so we have a clear reference for the wedding day.
The trial is included, but it is not compulsory. If you choose not to have one, we can still talk through the look beforehand and make adjustments on the wedding morning. If you want another trial after the first one, you can book an additional appointment for an extra fee.
From the first message to the morning itself
-
You get in touch
Six to twelve months out is ideal to start enquiring, especially if you are looking at popular dates in peak wedding season. Tell me your date and venue, and roughly what you are imagining, even if you are still deciding.
-
Your date is held
A signed agreement and deposit secure the booking. The remaining balance and payment timing are confirmed as part of the booking process.
-
Your guides arrive
Three of them: choosing your look, the skin-prep countdown, and the calm-morning planner. Yours to keep.
-
Your trial
Four to six weeks before, at your location. We design the look properly and I photograph and note every product used, so the morning is execution rather than invention.
-
Your timeline
I write the running order for the morning: who sits when, how long each person takes, when you need to be finished by. You approve it before the week arrives.
-
The morning itself
I arrive, we work through the timeline, and you leave the chair with a touch-up kit and nothing left to do but relax and enjoy your day.

Ann-Marie was absolutely incredible and truely made me feel so beautiful on one of the best days of my life. Everything I wanted and how I envisioned my makeup would look and how I would feel within myself, not only did she do just that but she further exceeded my own expectations. I had never felt more like a princess in my own fairytale than I did on my wedding day, I couldn't recommend her enough
Sian Hutchinson Her wedding day
Ann-Marie is amazingly calm, professional and skilled. We did a trial for my wedding make up and glad we did as I wanted to make a few tweaks for the big day (like more moisture and less powder under my eyes and a different lipstick). Everyone who had their make up done was super happy and looked stunning. Would definitely use again for any big occasions. Thanks Ann-Marie!
Genevieve Helson Her wedding day
I couldn't recommend Ann-Marie enough! She did my hair and makeup, as well as my daughter's, for my wedding last September, and she was absolutely amazing. From the moment she arrived, she made us both feel so comfortable and relaxed. She listened to exactly what we wanted and made us both feel beautiful while still feeling like ourselves. Our hair and makeup lasted beautifully throughout the entire day and looked incredible in all of our photos. Having someone you trust on such an important morning makes such a difference, and Ann-Marie was not only incredibly talented but also so lovely to have there with us. Thank you so much, Ann-Marie, for helping make our wedding morning so special. I'm so grateful we chose you!
Rebecca Ferrier Her wedding, with her daughter
Ann-Marie did my makeup as well as my aunty, mother-in-law and mum's for my wedding last year. Her work was flawless and she knew exactly how to do our makeup the perfectly suit us each individually. She spent the time making sure we were 100% happy with how everything looked. Couldn't recommend her more!
Ally Trowell Her wedding, with her mum and aunty
Cannot recommend Ann-Marie more for your special day! Not only did she do an absolute amazing job on my mother and mother in laws makeup and hair but her presence was so refreshing and uplifting. Ann-Marie was very flexible with us throughout the whole experience which help make the day run smoother! Definitely recommend her

Ann-Marie was super lovely and easy to work with and did such an amazing job with my wedding hair and make up. Highly recommend!

The questions people actually ask
Whether you wear makeup every day or almost never, the whole process is shaped around you — how you like to look, what you are wearing, how much makeup feels right. These are the questions brides ask most often, and how each one is handled.
What if I never wear makeup?
We keep it light and natural from the start and build it up if you feel you want more. You should feel and look like yourself when you see your reflection, and when you look back on your photos.
What if I've had a bad trial before, or I don't like the look at mine?
Tell me about it. We'll talk through exactly what went wrong and work together on your vision. And if you try a look at your trial and don't like it on yourself, that's fine, it's exactly what the trial is for. There's room in the appointment to change direction, and nothing is locked in until you're genuinely happy with it.
What if my skin is playing up?
Send me a photo. I will tell you honestly what is worth doing between now and the day, and just as importantly what to leave alone.
What if I cry?
You probably will. Everyone does. This is why I leave you with a touch-up kit as a parting gift, for when those happy-tear moments arrive.
Can my mum have a trial too?
Mum is always welcome to have a trial as well. It is the perfect way to design a look that makes her feel beautifully radiant and completely comfortable, so she can relax on the wedding morning.
Do I have to have a bridal trial?
No. One 90 to 120 minute trial is included with your bridal booking, but it is optional. If you would rather skip it, we can talk through the makeup beforehand and make adjustments on the wedding day.
What does it cost to hold my date?
A signed agreement and deposit are required to secure the booking. The payment schedule is confirmed with your quote and booking details.
Do you travel outside Melbourne?
Yes. I travel across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Travel within 30km is included, with a per-kilometre rate beyond that. Your travel cost is confirmed before you book.
How early can you start?
As early as the wedding schedule requires. An early-start fee of $50 per hour applies before 7am.
Do you do hair as well?
I specialise in makeup, so I do not do hair for weddings. What I can do is recommend hairstylists I trust, help you find the right one for your look, and help you prepare for them, so hair and makeup are planned together. A stylist's dates, availability and pricing are their own, so the earlier that conversation starts the better. For formals and debs, hair styling can be added to your booking with me.
What if my numbers change?
They usually do. Bridal party numbers can move up or down until roughly four weeks out, when the timeline gets written. Adding someone later is usually possible; it just depends on what the morning can absorb.
Three guides, yours to keep
Leave your name and an email address and all three are yours to keep, whether or not you ever book me.
Is your date free?
Send me your date and I will come back to you with availability, travel and timing. Nothing is held until there is a signed agreement and a deposit.
